Thereafter, in the event of death or disability at the time of the accident, a claim to the sum insured can be asserted. Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana remains valid for one year. It must be renewed every year. He said that the annual bounty of Pradhan Mantri Suraksha Bima Yojana is only 20 rupees. Under this insurance scheme, accident insurance is taken out at an annual premium of 20 rupees. This program is for people between the ages of 18 and 70. Under this scheme, if the insured person dies in an accident, an amount of two lakh rupees will be paid to his family members. If both eyes or both hands or both legs are injured in the accident, he will also receive an insurance sum of two lakh rupees and partial disability one lakh rupees.
Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana
LDM Vijay Singh said that Pradhan Mantri Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana is for people aged 18-50. This plan is a renewable term life insurance policy that provides yearly life insurance coverage. He informed that in the event of accidental death of the insured person, the insurance company will provide financial assistance of two lakh rupees to the candidate nominated by him. A premium of 436 rupees must be paid for this every year.
