The competition was duly opened by Chief Guest Rajya Sabha MP and President of the Amateur Kabaddi Association Haryana Krishan Lal Panwar and Director of the International Kabaddi Federation Tejashwi Gehlot.
29 participating teams made a walk from Yadav Dharamshala to the sports ground. Haryana team captain Bhim award winner Priyanka Pilaniyan gave players an oath to play with sporting spirit. Rajya Sabha MP Panwar Krishna Lal said that the Asian Games team will be selected only through this competition. Mahendragarh District prides itself on organizing national level competitions.
