The arrested accused are Jogendra, a resident of Jaurasi, Panipat and Anil, a resident of Machhrauli. The police produced the accused before the court. From there he was sent to police custody for two days. The police interrogate the defendant while in custody.
Sector 12 resident Rakesh Bansal had told police that he received a call on November 5. The young man who spoke from the other side identified himself as Neeraj Bawana. He had threatened to extort Rs 20 lakh. He also threatened to kill him if he didn’t give the money. The police had opened an investigation into the complaint. Now the investigating officer’s team has arrested Sub-Inspector Sanjay Jogendra and Anil. The accused were produced before the court. From there he was sent to police custody for two days. Police station incharge Dilbag said that the accused Jogendra used to work as an auto driver in the market. During this time, the complainant’s cell phone number reached him. While the second accused is involved in extortion. The cell phone used in the crime was seized from the accused. The matter is being seriously investigated.
