Sonipat: Six to seven attackers who arrived at the office on Barvasni Road near Bhathgaon village in two vehicles shot the real estate dealer with three bullets after identifying him through a video call. The attackers fled the scene after committing the crime. He also took the CCTV DVR from the spot. The friends and brother, who were present at the building material and real estate dealer’s office during the incident, took the injured to Bahalgarh Road Hospital where he was declared dead. Based on the statement of the deceased’s brother, the police have opened a case against the two people mentioned and others. The police are investigating the matter.

Mukesh, a resident of Garhi Haqiqat village, used to work as a real estate dealer. On Saturday evening, he was sitting with his friends in the building materials and real estate dealer’s office near Bhathgaon village. Meanwhile, six to seven attackers reached the location in two vehicles. When he reached the office, he asked who Mukesh was. When everyone saw the intentions of the attackers, they said that no one was Mukesh. Meanwhile, the attackers made a video call with someone, showed their faces and identified Mukesh among them. Mukesh then ran into the office and closed the bolt.

The attackers broke open the door with a knife, opened the bolt and then injured Mukesh with three shots. The attackers shot him in the head, hip and legs. The attackers then fled from there. Colleagues took him injured to a private hospital on Bahalgarh Road where he was declared dead. Following information, Sadar police station took the body into custody. The autopsy of the body will be carried out on Sunday. Based on the statement of Mukesh’s brother Kuldeep, the police have registered a case against Surendra of Barwasni village and Sunny of Rajlu Garhi and others involved in the case. The police team is searching for the attackers. It was reported that Mukesh had a dispute with the attackers over property and a transaction of Rs 50 lakh in which Mukesh was also threatened on August 23. Now the crime is committed. Video surveillance systems were installed on site. When the attackers saw the video surveillance, they took the DVR from there.

Sadar police station in-charge Inspector Karmjeet Singh said a real estate dealer was shot dead in his office near Bhathgaon village. Police have launched a comprehensive investigation into the matter. The brother of the deceased has made allegations against the two named and others. Every aspect is examined and concrete measures are taken.
