Thousands of rupees worth of cash was extorted from a youth in Deepalpur village of Sonipat by luring him. The thugs scammed the young man by enticing him with a promise to rate File Star on Google. Now the victim is being threatened and a demand of 4.78 lakh rupees has been made. The police took up a case based on the victim’s statement and initiated an investigation.

A young resident of Deepalpur village filed a complaint with the cyber police station, saying that on August 22, a message was received on his WhatsApp from a mobile phone number. He was given the task of giving a five-star review on Google, for which he was promised credit. He fell into her trap. He added them via a Telegram link. The IDs on the Telegram link were Preeti 20201 and Trivedi 31033. On August 22, he was asked to deposit Rs 1,000 into his account, of which Rs 1,300 was refunded. Eight thousand rupees were later deposited and on 23rd August 10,400 rupees were returned. Then he was lured into making him an official member. He was tricked into giving a new episode as an assignment.

On the pretext, he made them deposit Rs 9.01 lakh in various accounts. Even now he is demanding Rs 4.78 lakh from them. If the money is not paid, he also risks having his family’s nude photo go viral. The victim said he was forced to transfer cash into accounts by creating fake websites and opening them with fake documents. The police have registered a case in this regard. Cyber ​​criminals have tricked them into depositing funds ranging from 1,000 to 5 lakh rupees into nine accounts set up on behalf of different companies. Investigating officer SI Jitendra said the matter was being seriously investigated. Once the thugs are discovered, further action will be taken as quickly as possible.
