Sirsa news:The Sirsa district administration of Haryana today again convened a special meeting of the district council following pressure from the Aam Aadmi Party. In the meeting, Zilla Parishad Chairman Karan Singh Chautala and the district administration were sought answers regarding the development works on behalf of six AAP councilors. Councilors raised questions about irregularities in the distribution of street lights by the Zilla Parishad. Instead of giving answers, Karan Chautala is said to have started holding the district administration officials accountable. The AAP councilors then asked the district administration officials to ask them to ask questions and they put the district administration officials in the dock. The councilors alleged that Karan Chautala walked out of the meeting instead of answering their questions. In such a situation, the city councilors created an uproar and raised slogans.
Karan Singh left the meeting
AAP councilor Gurcharan Singh Fauji told the media that he had asked Karan Singh Chautala questions about the delays and irregularities in the development works. Instead of answering the question, he blamed the administration. He said that the district administration officials and Karna Chautala had been playing each other’s game for a long time. When we asked about it today, Karan Chautala walked out of the meeting.
If media reports are to be believed, there was a heated debate between councilors from Karan Chautala and Aam Aadmi parties at this meeting. The commotion became so intense that Karan Chautala walked out of the meeting without discussing the agenda. After this, the angry Aam Aadmi Party councilors started raising slogans.
INLD held the council hostage
AAP district president and council representative Happy Raniya, district councilor Jasdev Singh Nikka, Gurbhez Singh Gill, Manjeet Kaur, Balwinder Singh Brar, Sandeep Kaur and Gurcharan Singh Fauji said that the district administration officials have become puppets in the hands of the Chautala family. The Chautala family and the district administration have been constantly running away from meetings for the last one year. He alleged that INLD had been holding the Zilla Parishad hostage for the last 25 years. We will free the Zilla Parishad from INLD.
