Rohtak: Haryana Gramin Chowkidar Sabha reached the court of former Prime Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda on Monday regarding the claims. He called for rural chowkidar issues to be taken up in the forthcoming assembly session. The former prime minister assured the chowkidars that they would raise their voices in the Vidhan Sabha and work to reach the ears of the government.
Land guards said that Haryana land guards have been agitating for their demands for a long time. So far, the government has not resolved any issue other than covering it in the EPF, nor has the government taken any steps in this regard. There has been no increase in the guards’ fee since 2018, making it increasingly difficult to live on 7,000 rupees due to inflation. He called on the government to ensure that Haryana land guards pay 26,000 minimum wages, link salary to expense allowance and grant expense allowance every six months, and jointly release the budget for fees and allowances for the whole year, according to ESI There Es were other demands, including the provision of benefits to health facilities, the fulfillment of which was demanded. Former CM Bhupinder Hooda assured the Land Guards that the Government would be asked to answer the Land Guards’ questions at the forthcoming meeting.
