According to the case, Aman Khatri, 23, a resident of Gizhi village, rented a hotel room around 8pm on Friday night. He said he had come to work and would be clearing the room on Saturday. He left his ID at the counter. After that he fell asleep in the room. He had to vacate the room today but didn’t come out all day. He committed suicide by shooting himself in the temple with a locally made pistol. When the hotel staff also became suspicious, they called for the gate to be opened, but there was no response. Then the manager informed the number 112.

Remains of burning paper and burnt cigarettes were also found at the site. Because of this, it seems that some kind of poisoning has taken place. FSL expert Dr. Saroj Dahiya also inspected the site and collected evidence. Police sent the body to PGI for an autopsy. The statements of the relatives were not taken until late at night.

When the young man did not open the room at four o’clock in the evening, the police were informed. Staff say they didn’t hear the sound of the bullet. The police team examined the CCTV cameras installed in the hotel. Police reviewed the file from Friday night through Saturday night. It showed the young man coming to the hotel alone. Other than that, no other person was seen coming and going near him.

The police checked the room. No suicide note was found. But the young man’s cell phone was broken. so no one else can see it. In addition to the pistol, the police also seized the cell phone. In addition, some burned papers were also recovered.
