Rewari: When a person who had bought 8kanal land in Raghunathpura for Rs 40 lakh four years ago came to know that the process of confiscation of his land had begun for non-payment of a bank loan, the ground slipped from under his feet. The buyer has filed a fraud lawsuit against the seller and the bank employees in collusion. After the case was registered, the police started investigations.
In the complaint filed in the SDJM court, Sector 1 resident Sahil said that he purchased 8kanal land in Raghunathpura revenue area from Bawal resident Sanjay Sharma for Rs 40 lakh in 2019. While selling the property, Sanjay Sharma had said that there would be no surcharge for it. There is no dispute over the property. After purchasing the land, he had it transferred to his name. He later came to know that Sanjay Sharma had taken a loan of Rs 80 lakh for this land in consultation with HDFC Bank officials. When the bank began auctioning this property to recover the loan, it learned of the fraud committed against it. The court sent Istagase to the police to take action. The police registered a fraud case against the accused and initiated an investigation.
