Rewari: A young man was brutally murdered in Bhotwas Ahir. To hide the body’s identity, the face and head were severely smashed with a cement stone. After receiving the information, the police arrived at the scene, took the body into custody and sent it for an autopsy. The police registered a murder case and started an investigation. A close family member is suspected of murder.
Gaurav, aged around 25, had left the house after dinner on Thursday evening. When he didn’t come home late in the evening, his relatives went looking for him. On Friday morning, some youths of the village were out jogging near the train tracks when a body with a smashed face was seen there. A blood-soaked cement stone lay next to the body. The youth informed the sarpanch about the village. A large number of villagers reached there. After receiving the information, Rampura police station reached the spot. Meanwhile, Gaurav’s relatives who reached there identified him. The police took the body into custody and arranged for the post-mortem to be carried out at the general hospital. After a murder case was registered, the police started searching for the murderers.
Close family member suspected of murder
SHO Rampura Shivcharan said that Babulal, the father of the deceased, expressed his fear of a murder of a young man who was close to the family. The suspected teenager is still on the run. The police are looking for him. He informed that the police would soon interrogate the accused in custody so that the case could be cracked.
