Raids on houses of Lawrence Bishnoi gang sharpshooters, NIA raids at more than 20 locations

NIA team in Sonipat: The NIA team again reached Sonipat, Haryana. The team today questioned the family of the murder accused of Sidhu Moosewala, Ankit Sirsa and Priyavrat Fauji. Both are sharp shooters from the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The NIA team is continuously taking measures to stop the crime in this case. Tougher action is also taken against gangsters and their henchmen. According to the NIA team, raids were conducted at the houses of Ankit Sirsa and Priyavrat Fauji, the main accused in the murder case of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala and sharpshooters of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.

The interrogation lasted two hours.

Sniper Ankit Sirsa is a resident of Sirsa village Sonipat. Priyavrat Fauji’s family, on the other hand, belongs to Garhi Sisana village. The NIA team along with the local police interrogated the families of both. The team had arrived under the leadership of Saurav Bhardwaj and along with the team members, there were also women employees. This interrogation lasted from 5 a.m. to about 7 a.m. on Thursday. We would like to inform you that the NIA is conducting raids at more than 20 locations in Haryana in this matter. At the same time, the NIA team is currently searching two places in Sonipat.

20 defendants were arrested  

Punjabi singer Shubhdeep Singh Sidhu, popularly known as Sidhu Moosewala, was murdered on May 29, 2022. In this case, an 1,850-page indictment was filed. Shortly after the murder, police named 36 people in the case. Charges were brought against 24 people, 20 of whom were arrested. Last year, Priyavrat’s brother also died in a police operation. At the same time, the team now reached Sirsa village and interrogated Ankit Sirsa’s father. Information was also collected by taking Ankit’s father to Kundli police station.
