He couldn’t get the tractor but he definitely fell victim to Rs 2.10 cyber scam. The South Range Cyber ​​​​​​Police Station registered a case of fraud and launched an investigation.

Surendra said he called the cell phone number posted on Facebook after seeing an ad for tractors for sale and purchase. The person who received the phone gave his name as Malkit Singh and said he worked in CISF. He wants to sell his tractor. He also sent his Aadhaar card to gain trust. After doing the tractor business over the phone, he first sent the QR code to Surendra to transfer Rs 10550 for the transportation cost. Through the code, he transferred this amount from Phone-Pe. Afterwards, Malkit announced that his tractor was loaded. Will get to his address soon.

Amount claimed on behalf of Bilti

Surendra said he was asked for 31,000 rupees on behalf of Bilti. I paid for it too. More money was demanded on behalf of GST and bills from other states. The tractor was threatened with taking it back if the money was not paid. Afterwards, the person who identified himself as Malkit’s father assured him that he would pay the said amount. The person described Surendra as his son. He went to the CSC center and sent the amount according to his instructions. After that the tractor didn’t come, then this number was contacted. He found out about the scam when the number was switched off.
