Nuh: Inspector Malkhan Singh, in-charge of Bichhaur police station, said that a team led by ASI Ashok Kumar was present on patrol at Singar bus stand. Police received information that a young man from Tirwada village came to Singar village with the intention of cheating someone. According to information, a young boy who was coming on foot from Tirwada village was arrested. When he asked for his name and address, the boy gave his name: Sahid, resident of Tirwada. During the search, a mobile phone with a SIM card was recovered from his possession. When the phone was checked, a nude video was found that was made with blackmail intent. The cell phone and both SIM cards were confiscated in accordance with regulations.
The accused of extortion by making nude videos said that he deceives people on the internet by showing people obscene videos of girls and women via video calls and blackmails them by making fake nude videos of them. He makes a nude video and sends it to Abid who poses as DCP Crime and tricks victims into depositing money into his fake account and gives me half of the amount scammed. The accused Sahid was brought before the court in accordance with the rules for thorough interrogation and recovery and was held in pre-trial detention for two days. While in custody, the accused also recovered a mobile phone and a SIM card used in the fraud. The defendant’s interrogation has not yet been completed. During interrogation, in addition to the above-mentioned case, the accused also confessed to committing a fraud incident. Further incidents are likely to come to light during the interrogation of the defendants. Other accused involved in the case will also be arrested soon.
