Narnaul: The Haryana Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Department will provide free drone pilot training in the agriculture sector to unemployed youth and farmers. Interested candidates can apply online from February 9th to 19th. As per the instructions from Agriculture Department Headquarters, six candidates will be selected for the said free training for Mahendragarh district.

How to apply online

DS Yadav said farmers or unemployed youth interested in training as drone pilots can apply online on the Haryana Department of Agriculture and Farmers Welfare departmental portal www.agriharyana.gov.in by February 19. While applying online, the basic details are fetched from Parivar Pehchan Patra portal. Additionally, the applicant needs to upload their educational qualifications, passport details and documents. In addition, the farmer of the Custom Hiring Center or Farmer Producer Group must upload the certificate issued by the Deputy Director of Agriculture and provide information about my crop, etc. in addition to the details of the work carried out by him and my details on the portal.

What requirements apply for the application?

DS Yadav said that a farmer or an unemployed youth interested in becoming a drone pilot should be between 18 and 45 years old, should have at least 10th passport, should have a valid passport and the applicant should definitely have Custom Hiring Center must visit. Or the farmer should be a member of the producer group. Only one applicant from a Custom Hiring Center or Farmer Producer Group will be selected based on merit.

This is how the final selection for training is made

DS Yadav said that as per the instructions of Agriculture Department Headquarters, six candidates will be selected for free training for Mahendragarh district. After the final date, the applications will be jointly examined by the Deputy Director of Agriculture Narnaul and Deputy Agricultural Engineer Narnaul. To assign marks for selection, four categories were created, with marks determined for the applicant’s age, educational qualifications, experience as a member of a customs recruitment center or farmer-producer group and agricultural background.
