Kurukshetra: Efforts have been intensified to build AYUSH University in Kurukshetra, Haryana. The government has appointed a consultant for the construction of the university in Fatehpur village, which will cost Rs 1,000 crore, hence the hope of expediting the construction. The government’s initiative to promote AYUSH education in the state now seems to be on the rise again. To strengthen the country’s ancient medical system, the Manohar government had announced the establishment of AYUSH University at Kurukshetra, the site of the Gita. After this, the land of Fatehpur village near Thanesar was marked for the university. Ahead of the Lok Sabha elections, the state government has now taken another step towards construction by appointing a consultant for the same.
University construction is being accelerated
Haryana Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal said that the appointment of the consultant will expedite the construction work of the university. This will allow university construction and other related construction work to begin and make it easier to move forward with construction work. An academic block, hospital, hostel, OPD, panchkarma building and residential buildings for teachers and staff will be constructed at Ayush University, Fatehpur.
The Prime Minister has given his consent
The Haryana government has appointed Haryana State Industrial Infrastructure and Development Corporation as the project executing agency for the construction of Krishna Ayush University building at Kurukshetra. Which has received the approval of Prime Minister Manohar Lal. On Wednesday, HSIDC gave its approval for the appointment of a project advisor in the fourth meeting of the Secretariat Committee of the Department of AYUSH Education and Research.
Offers planning, design and service
Chief Secretary Sanjeev Kaushal said that with this, the project consultant will undertake the work of planning, designing, architectural services and provision of infrastructure in various buildings for the construction of the university building. This will speed up the construction of the university and construction and other works can begin soon. This will cost around a thousand crores.
