Kaithal: One person traveling in the car was killed while eight other family members were injured when a car was struck by a combine harvester near Keodak village on the Chandigarh-Hisar national road. The combine harvester came from the wrong side and after the accident, the accused driver fled the scene, leaving the combine harvester behind. The police took up a case against the accused and initiated investigations.

Dinesh from Sabzi Mandi Shamsherpur Paonta Sahib said that he works daily as a driver. He accompanied the family of Ravi Gupta from Paonta Sahib with their car several times. This completely damaged one side of the vehicle and Ravi Gupta, who was seated in the back seat on the conductor’s side of the vehicle, sustained further injuries and others sustained injuries as well. The driver of the combine harvester fled and abandoned his combine harvester. Passengers, via ambulance, took Ravi Gupta and others to Kaithal Government Hospital for treatment.
