Thereafter, after consultation with the officials of the canal authority, the water level in the canal was reduced. The villagers set out to find the queen by laying a rope across the canal and forming a human chain. After much efforts, the queen’s body was found near Urlana Chowki (Panipat) village in the evening. After the body was removed from the canal, it was identified by the family members.
