Jind: There will be a struggle for admission to colleges, more students have passed than the prescribed places

Jind News:The Haryana School Education Board and CBSE (HBSE and CBSE) will compete for admission to colleges after the 12th grade result. There are about ten and a half thousand seats in 17 different state and private colleges in the district, but in the 12th examination, more than 17.5 thousand students passed the CBSE and Haryana Board.

On the other hand, colleges are now awaiting the higher department’s guidelines regarding admission to UG courses after 12th grade results. Once all the places at the colleges are filled, about seven and a half thousand students will be barred from admission. In such a situation, only distance learning or a turn to the other side will be possible for the students. On the other hand, the pass rate of students in the 12th grade result has increased. In such a situation, it is expected to continue moving up the list of merits of colleges.

The Government PG College and Government Women’s College in the city are the preferred initiative of students for admission to UG courses. At these colleges, students compete for admission to the BA faculty. Both colleges are receiving four thousand applications for admission to more than 800 places on the BA faculty. And the performance list remains over 100. In other faculties, including Computer Science, B.Sc. Medicine and B.Sc. Non-med, students continue to try to gain admission into the city’s colleges.

Tanasha Hooda, principal of Government College Safidon, said seats could increase by as much as 10 percent. Efforts are being made to do this as well. Admission is based on performance criteria. Students should keep their preparations complete, the admission schedule may be released at any time. The students will be informed after the timetable has been published.
