Jind: Minor girl kidnapped and held hostage. She was then given drugs and raped. Along with the rape, the accused also made an obscene video of the minor, which blackmailed the victim by threatening to spread it virally. Following a complaint from the victim’s family, the police registered a case and initiated an investigation. The police intervened and arrested the accused, who is being questioned.
A woman from Sadar police station lodged a police complaint on August 25, saying that Ajay from the same village gave drinks containing alcohol to her daughter on January 25, 2022. Afterwards, Ankit, a resident of the same village, raped her daughter. The defendant also made an obscene video of his daughter, threatened to publish it and began sexually abusing his daughter. Deepak, a resident of Gangana village, tried to rape her daughter. If she protested, the defendant threatened her daughter with dire consequences. The trial of the defendant’s sexual exploitation of his daughter has been going on for a year and a half. Acting on the complaint of the victim’s mother, Sadar police station had registered a case against Ankit, Ajay and Deepak under sections of sexual exploitation, drug abuse, hostage taking and six POCSO Acts. The police intervened and arrested Ajay. The police interrogate the defendant. Investigating officer of Sadar police station Ghanshyam said that the victim’s mother lodged a complaint against three youths based on which a case was registered. The police have arrested an accused in the case and he is being interrogated.
