Ritu, a resident of Alipur village, said that she runs a grocery store in Uchana. On August 24, he saw a cheap sale on YouTube, where offers were made to sell goods on very cheap terms. Contacted the mobile phone given in the cell and ordered the same amount of 2 lakhs with the amount also transferred to the account given. Nevertheless, the ordered goods neither arrived nor was the amount refunded. Cyber police station started investigation by opening a case against an unknown person in different sections including fraud due to rite complaint. Praveen Kumar, the investigating officer at the cyber police station, said the victim filed a complaint alleging that her 2 lakh rupees were stolen under the pretense of providing cheap goods, after which a case was registered. The matter is currently under investigation.
