Jind: A young girl was sexually exploited by a neighbor in Civil Line police station area. The defendant has been sexually exploiting the girl for the past four months. Following the victim’s complaint, the Mahila Thana police registered a case against the accused on various counts including sexual exploitation and six POCSO and initiated investigation.
A 13-year-old girl from Civil Line police station area said that her neighbor Karm Singh raped her about four months ago after he found her alone. The accused threatened her with dire consequences if she told anyone about the incident. Thereafter, the defendant raped her whenever he had the opportunity. When the family members suspected sexual abuse, they investigated. The girl then said that Karm Singh had threatened and sexually abused her. Following the girl’s complaint, the Mahila Thana police registered a case against Karm Singh on various counts including sexual exploitation and threats and initiated an investigation.
