Jind: Due to suspicious circumstances, a person committed suicide by hanging himself in Patel Nagar last night. The family members described the deceased as mentally disturbed due to alcohol addiction. The city police station conducted an autopsy on the body and handed it over to the family members. The police are investigating the matter.
Sandeep, who lives in a rented house in Mehda Hall village, Abad Patel Nagar, hanged himself in his room last night due to suspicious circumstances. The family members came to know about the incident when there was no response to their call from the room. When he looked into the room, Sandeep was hanging. After receiving information about the incident, the city police reached the spot, took the body into custody and shifted it to the civil hospital. The deceased’s mother, Chameli, told police that Sandeep was addicted to alcohol. His wife had gone to her parents’ house. He suffered from alcohol addiction. Due to the same problem, Sandeep committed suicide by hanging himself. City police investigating officer Rammehar said that the deceased was said to be addicted to alcohol. The body was autopsied and handed over to the family. The police are investigating the matter.
