According to the information received, the villagers saw the fetus flowing in Minor number four near the village of Lakhmir Wala late at night. After receiving the information, the Sadar Police Station arrived at the site, retrieved the fetus and took possession of it. Upon examination, it turned out that the fetus was a boy. All its parts were complete. And the umbilical cord wasn’t even cut. From this it appears that the boy was thrown into the canal after birth. The floating village reached Lakhmir Wala. The fetus should be more than 7 months old. It shows that a woman gave an unwanted child to a minor to hide her sin. Sadar Police Station has opened an investigation and filed a case against an unidentified woman at the request of villager Sushil.
Kulbir Singh, the investigating officer at Sadar Police Station, said the fetus belonged to the boy who approached the minor with it from behind. A case against an unknown woman is currently registered. The case is under investigation.
