Jind: CM Flying wrecked an illegal liquor deal running without a license by raiding the village of Dilluwala. The guerrilla team seized 37 cases of alcohol from an illegal alcohol contract. The special thing is that the illegal liquor contracts were painted like real liquor contracts. The liquor contract was written on it in native language and English. The Aleva police station opened an investigation by instituting proceedings against the seller under the Excise Duty Act, following a complaint from the Excise Duty Inspectorate.

CM Flying had received information that alcohol was being sold illegally in Dilluwala village. On this basis, a guerrilla team was formed, led by CM Flying’s Sub-Inspector Satpal. These included Sub-Inspector Charan Singh and Bhagwan Singh. The team also included Inspector Hoshiar Singh from the Excise Agency. When the joint team searched the liquor contract, Satish, a resident of Kapado Village, was caught selling liquor there. During the search of the liquor contract, 37 cases of English, country and beer were seized there. When the team asked Satish for the alcohol contract documents, he failed to provide them. Following the complaint of Inspector Hoshiyar Singh of the Excise Board, a case against Satish was registered under the Excise Law and an investigation was launched. Ravindra Kumar, CM Flying’s DSP, said the liquor deal was illegal, also causing the government to lose revenue. 37 crates of alcohol were seized from illegal alcohol contracts. Further measures are implemented by the excise authority.
