Jind: A woman’s body was found floating in Rajwaha number three near Gaon Karkhana. Passers-by reported the matter to Sadar police station. After receiving the information, the police reached the spot, retrieved the body and kept it at the mortuary of the city civil hospital for identification. Police are trying to identify the deceased so that further action can be taken.
Rajwaha number three passes near Karkhana village on Gohana Road. On Monday morning, passers-by saw the body of a woman coming to Rajwaha. After seeing the body, the matter was reported to Sadar police station. After receiving the information, Sadar Police Station Superintendent Baljeet Singh reached the spot with his team and took out the body. Baljeet Singh said the woman was around 50 years old and the body was found floating from behind. There are no signs of injury on the body. He said the body was kept at the mortuary of the city civil hospital for 72 hours for identification. The matter will be revealed only after identification, on the basis of which further action will be taken.
