Hisar: Three officials involved in a multi-crore rupees embezzlement case in cooperative societies have been arrested

Hisar: The SIT arrested three district-level officials who were trying to bail out the operators of the society who had embezzled millions of rupees by setting up a cooperative society in the district and duping the employees and public into paying more interest than the bank. The ADGP office received numerous complaints in this regard. ADGP Shrikant Jadhav deeply understood the problem of the complainants and took the matter seriously and formed SIT under the leadership of SP Sirsa Vikrant Bhushan.

In the said case, the SIT arrested Assistant Registrar of Cooperative Societies (AR) Sudhir Ahlawat, who was posted in Hisar district, the then Inspector of Hisar district and recently Manta Devi (AR) of Fatehabad district. Additionally, DR office inspector Manjeet Singh, who was involved in the misappropriation of land worth crores of rupees case by the cooperative society, was also arrested. According to the case, Ashish Sankhla and Kapil Sharma, residents of Hisar district, jointly registered the All Employees Cooperative Society and tricked people into depositing crores of rupees by luring them with higher interest rates. Advocate Jagbir Singh, resident of Lajpat Nagar, Hisar, had invested his Rs 17 lakh in the form of FD in this company. When the deadline expired, Jagbir Singh demanded his money.

The matter came to light when he refused to pay the money.

Lawyer Jagbir Singh, who invested in All Employees Cooperative Society, said that the company’s directors, Ashish Sankhla and Kapil Sharma, refused to give him the money, following which he complained to deputy registrar Sudhir Ahlawat, who did not listen . He complained to DR Ashok Kumar, who took strict cognizance and seized the property of committee directors Ashish Sankhla and Kapil Sharma. The arrested accused AR Sudhir Ahlawat released the attached property in collusion with the accused and abusing his position. Advocate Jagbir Singh also complained to the Lokayukta Haryana government in this matter. On the directions of the Lokayukta Haryana government, a case in this regard was registered in Hisar city and Sadar police stations and investigation was initiated.

All three defendants are taken into custody and interrogated

On the instructions of ADGP Hisar Division Shrikant Jadhav, the special team formed under the leadership of Superintendent of Police Sirsa based on key evidence during investigation arrested AR Hisar Sudhir Ahlawat Hall Mahendragarh, AR Fatehabad Manta Devi and Inspector Manjeet Singh of DR Office Hisar. . Pretrial detention is achieved by bringing the three defendants before the court. While in custody, other aspects related to this case will be interrogated in detail.
