We tell you that the length of the new railway line from Hansi to Rohtak is 68.8 kilometers, reducing the total distance from 109 kilometers between Hisar and Rohtak (via Bhiwani) to about 94 kilometers (via Hansi and Meham). . In the absence of this new railway line (Hansi-Maham-Rohtak), all trains used to run via Hisar-Hansi-Bhiwani-Rohtak.

Freight trains are currently running on the new railway line. On the occasion of the Prime Minister’s inauguration, the Railway Ministry will also start operating passenger trains from Hisar to Meham, Rohtak and Delhi via Meham. After starting trains on this railway route, passengers traveling from Hisar and Hansi to Rohtak and Delhi will save a lot of time and fare. Let us tell you that passengers can travel directly from Hansi to Delhi through this route after a long wait of around twelve and a half years.

There will be five stations on the 68.5 km long railway line.

The train service from Hisar via Meham Rohtak will run on the old route up to Hansi. After this, the Hansi-Rohtak railway line will start at a distance of about two kilometers from Hansi railway station. The old railway line, on the other hand, leads to Bhiwani. There will be a total of 5 stations on this railway route and the train will reach Rohtak after passing through 20 villages. After Hansi, the first station was built in Garhi, Madina, Balamba, Kharkada and Bahu-Akbarpur villages. This railway line will reduce the distance between Hisar and Rohtak by 20 km.

The foundation stone was laid in 2013

The then Union Railway Minister Mallikarjun Kharge and then Chief Minister Bhupendra Singh Hooda had laid the foundation stone for the Hansi-Meham-Rohtak railway line project on July 28, 2013, which was expected to be completed in five years. However, the work was delayed due to difficulties in land acquisition. Due to the delay in completion of the project, the estimated cost also increased from Rs 410 billion to Rs 889 billion.

The Prime Minister will inaugurate the railway line

Bikaner Chief Commercial Officer Maheshchand Jevaliya said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the new railway line from Rewari to Rohtak-Maham-Hansi on February 16.
