Barwala MLA Jogiram Sihag reached the Dharna.

Hisar: The dharna given under the banner of Bachao Sangharsh road on the ring road of Talwandi Rana village entered its 21st day on Monday. Addressing the dharna, the committee’s chairman, lawyer Om Prakash Kohli, said that our dharna is going in the right direction and the villagers’ demand for a permanent road has come full force to the government. Kohli turned to the Dharna and claimed that some people from the government side conspired to create division among the villagers, but they would never achieve their goal as the villagers were completely united.

He said that the villagers will not be misled by this and we will stand firm in the demand for a permanent road, our only aim and goal. The villagers face big problems due to the arbitrariness of the government. If the government makes a temporary road available to the villagers, it can be closed by the government at any time without notice, just like the current temporary road has been closed. That’s why we will stick to our demand for a permanent road and go down this path at all costs.

Om Prakash Kohli said that Barwala MLA Jogiram Sihag also reached the dharna today who reiterated his support for the villagers’ demand for a permanent road. He said that as the constituency’s MLA, he fully sided with the villagers. He is in constant contact with the government and strives for a permanent roadway. The villagers devised a strategy for the dharna and the forthcoming action of the permanent road was discussed.

Besides MLA Jogiram Sihag, the President of the Bharatiya Kisan Union Ambavata, Dilbag Hooda, Samudra Bura, Dr. Mishri Nambardar, Gopal Bavata, Rajendra Jangra Dhansu, Balbir Bishnoi, Raja Poonia, Rasiram Moliya, Purna Bokan, Umaid Nambardar and Radheshyam attended the protest A large number of rural men, women, youth and elders including Nambardar and Shankar Lal Sharma, were present.
