Gurugram: In Pataudi police station area, a young man was beaten up by the dhaba worker for calling him uncle. Death threats were also made. Following the victim’s complaint, the police registered a case and initiated an investigation.

Joginder from Jatauli said that he and his friend Pradeep were cycling to Kashish Hotel on Holimandi Kulana Road to have dinner last night. He told the police that the dhaba operator, Rishi, appeared to be his uncle. After we reached the dhaba, the waiter served the food. Meanwhile, when the sage came to him, Joginder called him uncle and asked him to sit down to eat. It is alleged that Rishi got angry over this and said that he appeared to be his father and not his uncle. After that, Rishi took a stick from the room and beat him. Joginder’s friend Pradeep informed his family about it. Jogindra’s father Sushil Kumar and brother Sandeep Kumar, who were at the spot along with Pradeep, took him to the hospital in Pataudi where he was referred to the Civil Hospital in Gurugram considering his condition. The family took him to a private hospital in Rewari where he is undergoing treatment. The police took up the case and initiated an investigation.
