Gurugram: Police arrested two accused in the shooting at a private hospital in Sohna Crime Branch area. The defendant committed the crime because of a dispute about parking at the university. The police checked both accused and started interrogating them. The police are seriously investigating the matter. The accused were Mukesh and Praveen, residents of Sapki Nangli village.
Employees sleep awake due to gunshots
On Tuesday evening around 2.30 pm, the miscreants reached the Bharat Hospital and Trauma Center and started firing. The employees present there were woken up by the noise of the bullets. Shravan Saini, an employee present at the hospital, said the discharge had created panic among hospital staff and patients. Shravan Saini informed the doctor about this and informed the police. Four police vehicles reached the spot and investigated the matter. A forensic team was also called to the scene. Police registered a case and scanned the CCTV footage installed nearby. Thereafter, SI Satyaprakash’s team in charge of Sohna Crime Branch arrested two accused from GD Goenka College, Sohna within hours of the incident.
Bullets were fired over a parking dispute
The accused told the police that there was a dispute over the parking lot of GD Goenka College. Due to this dispute, the incident was carried out. The accused said that the person who accepted the tender for parking at GD Goenka College, Sohna, was asked for half of the parking share but refused to hand over the share. In such a situation, they tried to intimidate him by shooting to get a share of the parking lot. The police are seriously questioning the accused in the case.
