Young people take part in an ITI training course

Kaithal: There is good news for the youth who are graduating from ITI in the state. Now the youth of the state no longer have to face external pressure to find an apprentice. Most of the state’s youth are given the opportunity to pursue an education in their home district or state. Government and non-governmental agencies and companies must give priority to the youth of the state in education. If the youth of the country is not available for education, only the youth of other countries can be given a chance. Lakhs of ITI passport youth and state women will benefit from these directives from the Director of the Department of Skills Development and Industrial Training.

It is worth noting that after graduating, young men and women are given opportunities for training from 392 government and non-government ITIs operating in the state. Whilst the candidates have the opportunity to develop their talent during the training, the youngsters completing the one-year course are also awarded a stipend of Rs 7750 per month and those completing the two-year course are granted a stipend of Rs 8050 per month . So far, it has been shown that in most of the state’s governmental and non-governmental departments, instead of the state’s youth, the youth of other states have been hired as apprentices. Because of this, youth were forced to go to distant places to pursue an apprenticeship, and most girls were denied education because they did not go to distant places.

The game of notes and costs is over

Due to these orders from the management, the game of nepotism and embezzlement in the departments has come to a complete standstill. Sources say that most large companies and officials of many ministries have often kept other states’ youth in apprenticeships, bypassing the state’s youth, thereby affecting their employment and employment opportunities.

It is mandatory that 2.5 to 10 percent of the entire workforce are trainees.

According to the regulation issued by the government, hiring apprentices has been made compulsory for 2.5 to 10 percent of all employees in all governmental and non-governmental departments, enterprises and industrial units of the state. An Apprenticeship Committee has been formed in the district, the meeting of which is held monthly by the DC. The cohort of department heads who do not hire apprentices is also taken on by the DC.

A happy atmosphere among ITI Passport youth and girls

ITI district node official Satish Machhal said that in the orders of Sanjeev Sharma, the additional director of the Department of Skills Development and Industrial Training, officials of all departments were instructed to give priority to the youth and women of the state in training. For this reason, the joy among the state’s ITI passport youth and girls can be observed. This decision will prove to be a milestone for ITI Passport youth and women.
