Fire in Karnal factory: Major fire in textile factory, fire brigade arrived too late, damage amounting to several million euros

Fire at the Karnal Factory: A major fire suddenly broke out at the Krishna textile factory in Kohand village in Karnal, Haryana. Due to this fire, goods stored in the factory worth millions of rupees were burnt. The fire was so terrible that even the walls of the factory began to collapse. Four machines were installed in the factory. The price of each machine will be Rs 40 to 50 lakh.

The fire department arrived late

At the same time, a loss of 5 to 5.5 million rupees is estimated. Seeing the condition of the factory, the owner was also seen crying. Work was going on in the factory when the fire broke out. After the fire there was chaos in the factory. The fire was brought under control after about 5 hours. However, the luggage inside burns. The factory owner claims that when the fire broke out in the morning, the fire brigade was called, but the fire brigade reached the spot after an hour and a half.

Polyester fibers were used in the factory

The factory is in the name of Himanshu Gupta and Arpit Gupta, residents of Sector 18, Panipat. He has been working in a factory in Kohand producing polyester fibers for about four years. Himanshu and Arpit said that they received a call at 6.30 am today. After that he reached the factory, but when he got there the fire had taken a terrible shape and the factory was burning. We then called the fire department, but the fire engines arrived after about an hour and a half.

Because of this, all goods were burned and chaos reigned among the people. The fire was so terrible that a person’s soul trembled when he saw it. The Panipat-Karnal fire brigade reached the spot and then started extinguishing the fire.

There was an opportunity to speed up the work

The factory owner said that his export work has been slow so far, but now Panipat markets have opened. There was then an opportunity to speed up the work. More than 100 tons of goods were stored in the factory. But everything burned to ashes. We worry about what to do. It is said that the cause of the fire is not yet known.

Surveillance cameras are being examined

Himanshu Gupta further said that CCTV cameras have also been installed in the factory. If the DVR is found, CCTV footage will be reviewed so the cause of the fire can be determined. He said that there had been a fire in the factory before but it was extinguished with the help of a fire hydrant installed in the factory. But today’s fire was so terrible that it could not be brought under control. 10 fire brigade vehicles reached the scene of the fire and were able to bring the fire under control after around 5 hours.
