Narnaul: Fear of overloaded dump trucks has further increased on the Dhauleda road. On Thursday evening, an overloaded tipper truck coming from the wrong side of Dholera Road on the border of Khatauli Ahir village hit the bike from the front, resulting in the death of the father and son. When the accident occurred, the driver of the dump truck abandoned the truck and fled the scene while a crowd of villagers gathered. After the information was available, the police were on site and began the investigation. Villagers expressed their anger and demanded a ban on overloaded dump trucks.

According to the information, 42-year-old Vikas Sharma and his 15-year-old son Rishabh Vasiyan Dholeda were hit by an overloaded tipper truck coming from the front on the wrong side in front of Rao Stone Crusher a short distance from the petrol pump in Khatauli village at around 3.30 pm Ahir. They came and collided, causing the father and son to die. After the accident, the driver of the dump truck fled the scene and left the vehicle there. Both the deceased father and son were the only sons of their parents. As soon as the news of the accident spread, a crowd of villagers gathered there and anger spread among them. People informed ambulance, police, 112 number and Nizampur post office. Following this, Doyle vehicle 112 and the SHO of Nizampur reached the spot and initiated necessary action.

Villagers said that father Vikas Sharma was a teacher in a private school and also worked as an astrologer. Also, Rishabh was a 10th class student. Both were their parents’ only sons. Now only grandparents, mother and sister are left in Rishabh’s family, and a mountain of grief has fallen on them due to the untimely death of father and son together. The villagers said that the father and son came from Narnaul side and went to their village Dhauleda while the tipper truck came from Dhauleda side and went to Narnaul. As they were passing in front of Rao Stone Crusher on the road, they were hit by an Orvalod dump truck coming from the wrong side and the father and son were killed.

Angry over the accident, villagers said many stone crushers had been constructed in Bakhrija near Dholeda. Similarly, there are many stone crushers in Khatauli. He claimed that the dump trucks were overloaded with these stone crushers. Many drivers remain drunk and cause traffic accidents. Numerous accidents have already occurred on this route and calls have been made to the police and administration to curb these dumpers, but a hearing has not yet taken place. On the other hand, the police took necessary measures and sent the body to the Civil Hospital for post-mortem and took into their custody the dump truck and the bike parked at the spot.
