Fatehabad: Indiscriminate firing from two sides created a stir at Hotel Walk Grill on Sirsa Road in the city on Friday afternoon. While people on one side fired 15 to 20 shots, the vehicles parked in front of the hotel were also destroyed. A youth was hit by a bullet near his head and was immediately rushed to the Civil Hospital from where he was referred to a higher hospital. As soon as news of the shooting arrived, a heavy police presence arrived at the scene. At the same time, the crime scene team was on site and began the investigation. SP Aastha Modi also inspected the spot and searched the entire hotel along with the police team. Passenger traffic in the hotel was stopped and an investigation began. The police are also examining the CCTV footage installed there.
According to the information received, yesterday day there was an argument between two parties at the party at Hotel Walk and Grill. Today, because of this argument, both groups reached the hotel again, where another fight broke out between the two. A young man named Praveen, who was present at the spot, said that he and his associates were called here by Vikram Baijalpuria and his associates to resolve the dispute. He came with his 5-7 companions and the accused came in half a dozen vehicles with 20-25 people. After I arrived there was an argument about some problem. He said that Praveen Baijalpuria and Chamarkhedas Dholiya opened fire with a rifle from outside the hotel, shooting a youth named Ravindra from Bighad near the head.
He said that when the defendant left, the windows of his two vehicles parked in front of the hotel were also broken. Information was received that 15 to 20 shots were fired. Vikram and his gang used to be partners in liquor deals. The police are busy investigating the matter. In this case, SP Aastha Modi said that police reached the spot immediately after receiving information about the shooting. The crime scene team is collecting facts and CCTV footage is also being examined. How many bullets were fired and who did the shooting will only be known after an investigation.
