Fatehabad: An unknown truck crushed a person who was walking near Khabra Kalan village late evening. In this accident the person died on the spot. After the accident, the truck driver fled the scene. As soon as the incident was reported, the police team reached the spot, took the body into custody and sent it to Fatehabad Civil Hospital for autopsy. The police have registered a case against the truck driver and are investigating.
Praveen Kumar, a resident of Dhabi Kalan village, said he received information that his father, Amit Kumar aka Mitu, died in a traffic accident. His father Amit Kumar was walking from home towards Khabra Kalan village late in the evening of August 31 for work. When they got near Dhani Gopal Singh, the driver of an unidentified truck coming from behind hit Amit Kumar, who was walking while driving the truck carelessly and at high speed, causing Amit to die on the spot. After the accident, the truck driver fled the scene. In this case, the police have filed a case against the unknown truck driver and are investigating.
