He shared that for summer moon cultivation, seeds would be distributed to farmers through the sales centers of Haryana Seed Development Corporation. According to departmental regulations, interested farmers should now register on the Department of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare website linked to the Meri Fasal Mera Byora portal by April 24 to receive summer moon seeds.

DC Jagdish Sharma said the government will be distributing Summer Moong seeds to encourage legumes. OTP is sent to farmers by Haryana Seed Development Corporation sales centers on their mobile phones for identification. The department’s website will remain open for registration to receive Summer Moon Seeds until April 24th. Haryana Seed Development Corporation will keep the records of the growers who receive Summer Moong seeds and the total amount of Summer Moong seeds sold. A farmer can only buy 30 kg of seed for three acres. Farmer registration requires an ID card, Aadhaar card/voter card or Kisan card. He urged farmers who want to take seeds for summer cultivation of moong and dhencha in the district to register online by April 24.
