Yamuna Nagar: In North India, drill to rescue Yamuna Nagar’s largest plywood industry from crisis has started. A delegation from the Haryana Plywood Manufacturing Association, led by State Education Minister Kanwarpal, met with Union Chemical Fertilizers and Health Minister Mansukh Mandaviya at his Delhi office last day in a bid to rescue the industry from the crisis. Trade union minister Mansukh Mandaviya assured the association’s delegation that he would save the industry from the crisis.

The President of the Association JK Bihani said that in the delegation led by Minister of Education Kanwarpal of Haryana, the Minister of Chemical Fertilizers of the Union Mansukh Mandaviya, MP Nayab Saini, MP of Ghanshyam Das Arora City, Vice President of the Association Satish Chaupal and Executive Board Members Ajay met Maniktala, Shiv Kumar Kamboj, Satish Saini and he were present. He said that this meeting is possible thanks to Prime Minister Manohar Lal’s efforts.

Bihani said that the meeting provided the delegation with detailed information on the problems faced by technical urea in the plywood industry. The Union Minister was asked to make urea available to small industrial companies in technical quality at a lower price than the market. To overcome the currently exorbitant cost of resins in the plywood industry. At the same time, he was also told that very cheap plywood was coming to India from Nepal. The resin from which it is made, also known as agricultural urea, unofficially comes from India. Union President JK Bihani said the union minister was also informed at the meeting that some bus standard ureas with a nitrogen content of less than 46 could also be imported. Which is very cheap. They should be allowed to import it. Because in the plywood industry there is no need for high quality urea.

Union Minister of Chemical Fertilizers and Health Mansukh Mandaviya assured the delegation that if inferior urea or low-nitrogen urea can be used in our industry and its import is prohibited, he will definitely allow the import. At the same time, he will try to solve the delegation’s other problems by bringing them to the attention of the Prime Minister. However, during this union, Minister Mandaviya said that the government was opposed to the use of urea in agriculture-related non-agricultural works. But he and the central government are always ready to solve the problems of the plywood industry. He assured association officials that he would also recommend levying an anti-dumping duty on imports of cheap plywood from Nepal.
