News2News.in news. Jind. The Additional District and Session Court Dr. Chandrahas sentenced the perpetrator to twenty years in prison and a fine of Rs 25,000 for sexual exploitation of a minor. If the fine is not paid, the convicted person faces an additional prison sentence of two years. In addition, DLSA will also provide financial assistance of Rs 4 lakh to the victim.
According to the public prosecutor’s office, on September 29, 2022, a person from the city police station filed a police report that his 17-year-old daughter was a 10th grade student. In July 2021, Amanjeet alias Aman of Basti raped his daughter in a room in Peer Mazar. The defendant made an obscene video. As a result, the defendant began to blackmail his daughter and sexually exploit her. The accused even broke into the victim’s house and raped her. His daughter was upset with Aman and informed the family about the incident.
Following the man’s complaint, Mahila Thana police registered a case against Aman for sexual exploitation under various sections, including six POCSO laws, and arrested him. Since then, the matter has been pending in court. On Saturday, the Additional District and Sessions Court convicted Dr. Chadrahas Amanjeet sentenced to twenty years imprisonment and a fine of Rs 25,000. If the fine is not paid, the convicted person faces an additional prison sentence of two years.
