His father Ishwar Das had complained about this and accused the examination board of discrimination. He informed that Anup Singh was appointed as the superintendent on October 3, 2016. Ishwar Das Kaushik, father of Jagdeep Kaushik, the second candidate to apply for the post, had lodged a complaint with the CM Window alleging irregularities. In it, he had alleged that the selection committee on October 2, 2016 found Anoop unsuitable for the post due to lack of experience. The case was investigated by ADC based on the complaint of Ishwar Das Kaushik. It was later investigated by Vigilance. Vigilance had submitted its investigation report to the Secretary General last year. Now the Deputy Secretary General of the Department of Higher Education has issued a letter calling for action on the matter. Savita Kumari, who is part of the examination board, is currently working at Indira Gandhi University, Mirpur. Surendra Singh Chaudhary is a professor at Devi Lal University, Sirsa. Deputy Registrar Hawa Singh has retired. In the vigilance report, all of them were accused of illegal appointment and directions were given to register an FIR against them through a letter to the Vice-Chancellor.

CRSU VC Dr. Ranpal said the matter will be taken up in a council meeting after Diwali. Whatever decision the Executive Council takes, only these actions will be taken. He cannot make a decision on this matter. In order to take action in this regard, a meeting of the University Board must be convened. This concerns the recruitment of the superintendent in 2016. A letter has been received from the higher education department requesting that an FIR be registered in this regard.
