Under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Vigilance arrested surveyor Arjun red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 15,000. According to the information, the government has launched the Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana for building houses for the poor, under which eligible persons will be identified, and financial support will be provided on behalf of the government upon application in this program by the city council. . Pankaj Kumar, a resident of Mohalla Khadkhadi, had applied to take advantage of this scheme, but surveyor clerk Arjun kept making him dizzy and demanding money.
Concerned, Pankaj complained about this to Vigilance. Following the appointment of ITI Director Vinod Khanagwal as Duty Magistrate, vigilance, led by Inspector Naval Kishore, set a trap and caught Arjun in the act while accepting a Rs 15,000 bribe. Vigilance immediately took him to the office and initiated the necessary measures. To get to the bottom of the vigilance case, after accepting the police custody of the defendant Arjun and knowing the names and addresses of the other people involved, he also prepares to tighten the noose against them.
