CM Khattar approves 8 development projects worth more than 131 crores, new disposal to be built in Rohtak

Haryana News: Presided over by Haryana Chief Minister Manohar Lal, approval was granted for 8 state development projects worth more than Rs 131 crore. These include 2-2 Public Works Department and Public Health Department (PWD and Public Health Department) projects and 3 Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority projects.

The Prime Minister chaired the approval meeting for development projects worth more than Rs 10 crore here. He granted approval for a canal-based water project in Dalamwala village in Jind district. With this drinking water project of more than Rs 13 crore, the population of 5 villages including Behatwala, Khokri, Haibatpur and Mando villages will have uninterrupted access to drinking water and water will be supplied from Hansi branch.

The Prime Minister granted permission to construct a new stormwater disposal facility at Guru Nanakpura in Rohtak city. This will eliminate the problem of waterlogging in Mahabir Colony, Sanjay Nagar etc. and will cost more than Rs 23.75 crore.

3 rain well based drinking water systems have been approved by the Faridabad Metropolitan Development Authority. These three drinking water projects each have a capacity of 10 MLD and will be constructed in Bhikula Village, Mothuka, adjacent to the Yamuna Canal. These cost more than Rs 51 crore.

At the meeting the main road of Sectors 14/15 and 16/17 to be built by the FMDA at a cost of approximately Rs 16 crore will be constructed which will cost approximately Rs 16 crore. Apart from that, the permit for drinking water, sewerage and internal roads in Rewari Sector 7 has also been granted. It will cost around Rs 9.50 crore. At the same time, approval was also granted for the improvement of the Gurugram-Farukhnagar-Jhajjar four-lane road. This route costs about Rs 17.25 crore.

The meeting was attended by Chief Principal Secretary to Chief Minister DS Dhesi, ACS Anurag Rastogi, AK Singh, Arun Gupta, Chief Administrator Haryana Urban Development Authority Ajit Bala Joshi, Chief Executive Officer FMDA A Srinivas and other officials.
