CM Flying Raid: 440 kg bombs and crackers recovered from Uchana Mandi

Jind: The CM Flying Team raided a shop and warehouse in Uchana Mandi and recovered a large quantity of bombs and crackers. The confiscated bombs weigh around 440 kg. Uchana police station registered a case and initiated investigation.

CM Flying had received information that Vikas, a resident of Lal Chowk, Uchana Mandi, was storing a large quantity of bombs and firecrackers in his shop and warehouse. Since Jind district is in the NCR region, the sale of bombs and firecrackers is prohibited. According to the information, duty magistrate Tehsildar Nikhil Singla has been deputed for the raid. While SI Vijendra from CM Flying, Maman Ram LFM and Vijay Kumar LFM from Fire Brigade Jind were present. When the team searched the said location, a large quantity of bombs and crackers were recovered. When weighed, the total weight was 440 kg. The complaint in this regard was lodged at Uchana police station. DSP Ravindra Kumar of CM Flying said that explosive material was stored in the residential area. Bombs and fireworks are banned in NCR. The team conducted the raid and recovered 440 kg of firecrackers. Further action will be taken by Uchana Police.
