A malefactor opened fire on a young man standing in front of the house in Kohlawa Village late in the evening. Since the target was missed, the bullet hit the dog. The dog died during treatment. The police registered a case against the accused under various sections, including attempted murder, weapons law.
Lalit Chauhan, a resident of Kohlawas Village, said that he was standing in front of his house around 6:00 pm yesterday. At the same time, Sikandar came out of the village, waved a gun in his hand and shot me. He narrowly escaped, but the bullet hit the dog. When Sikandar was asked the reason for the shot, Vikram grabbed the bike from behind and they both fled. When he heard the bullet’s sound, his family members and people gathered around him. The injured dog was taken to a vet but died during treatment.
After receiving information about the shooting, the police arrived and inspected the spot. Following Lalit’s complaint, the police registered a case against Sikandar and Vikram under various sections including attempted murder and the gun law.
Lawsuit filed against two
ASI Radheshyam, who is investigating the case, said Lalit’s dog died from a gunshot wound. In this case, a case was registered against Sikandar and Vikram for attempted murder, the Arms Act and the Cruelty to Animals Act. Constant efforts are being made to arrest both.
