Yamunanagar: The miscreants entered Tirupati Balaji plywood factory on Dadupur-Kharwan road, stole cash worth Rs 15 lakh, mobile phones and gold chains from the operators at gunpoint and fled the scene. After receiving the information, the police went to the scene and began an investigation. A mobile phone stolen from the operators was found by the police some distance from the factory. Following a complaint from factory operators, the police have opened a case against unknown persons.

Jagadhri residents Ankit Goyal and Sachet Goyal said that they have a factory in the name of Tirupati Plywood on Dadupur-Kharwan road. He reached the factory as usual on Monday morning around 11am. During this time, he had come to the factory with cash worth Rs 15 lakh to give to the workers. The two brothers had just sat down in their hut in the factory when four villains entered their hut. One had a pistol in his hand. He pointed the gun at Ankit and threatened him saying, “Give me everything you have.” Due to this, he got scared and gave a bag full of cash to the miscreants. The culprits then snatched the chain from Sachet Goyal’s neck and the mobile phones of the two brothers and fled the scene.

There was no guard at the factory gate

Ankit Goyal said that a new office will be constructed near the factory gate. Whose construction work is underway. For this reason, video surveillance systems were closed. When the evildoers came, the guard was not at the gate. The villains’ mouths were open. He entered the cabin and smoked a cigarette. As soon as information about this incident came, DSP Headquarters Kanwaljeet, CIA One, CIA Two and Special Cell and police from Sadar Jagadhri Police Station reached the spot and inspected it. Police have started scanning the CCTV installed around the factory. According to the factory operators, the language spoken by the accused appeared to be from UP. For this reason, the police have also blocked the border between Hathni Kund and Kalanaur.

Looking for villains

Sadar Jagadhri police station in-charge Kusum Bala, who is investigating the case, said a case has been registered against unknown accused. As soon as the incident was detected, the police team reached the spot. Information about the defendant is collected. The police are busy looking for the perpetrators.
