Very sad information comes out of the politics of Haryana. The senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in Haryana and the party’s MP from Ambala, Rattan Lal Kataria, has died. He suffered from an illness for a long time. Former Union Minister of State Kataria had an infection in his body and was admitted to the Chandigarh PGI. Afterwards, all BJP leaders have expressed their condolences on his death.

Prime Minister Manohar Lal Khattar expressed his sadness at the death of Ratanlal Kataria and tweeted that he was deeply saddened by the death of Rattan Lal Kataria, former Union Minister of State and Ambala MP. He raised his voice in Parliament on behalf of the society and people of Haryana. His departure from the world in this way is an irreparable loss for Haryana and the country. The CM also said that may God place his departed soul at his feet and give strength to the family at this difficult time. Prime Minister Manohar Lal and Haryana Assembly Speaker Gyanchand Gupta arrived at Ratanlal Kataria’s residence and met the family. About 12 last rites of MP Ratanlal Kataria are performed at Manimajra in Chandigarh.

According to media reports, Rattan Lal Kataria was born on December 19, 1951 in Sandhali Village, Yamunanagar District, Haryana. He holds a BA Honors and Masters degree in Political Science from Kurukshetra University. He also had an LLB degree. Rattan Lal Kataria has become a three-time MP of Ambala Lok Sabha. He won the last two elections of the Modi wave in a row. Ratan Lal Kataria was appointed State Vice President of BJYM in 1980. After that, he was entrusted with many great tasks by the party.

From 2001 to 2003 he was appointed Party Spokesman, All India General Secretary of Scheduled Caste Morcha and Party President. Ratan Lal Kataria was elected MP of Ambala on October 6, 1999. He won in 2014 during the Modi government. At the same time, after winning the Ambala Lok Sabha for the second straight year in 2019, Kataria was appointed Minister of State to Prime Minister Modi’s cabinet.
