Bhiwani: For the 2023-2024 period, the online bidding process for 65 zones of liquor stores in Bhiwani and Dadri districts has been completed by the Excise Authority. The Excise Board has maintained a floor price of Rs 222 crore 55 lakh for a total of 65 zones. Only 57 zones were processed during the bidding process, exceeding the firm reserve price of 65 zones in total and the bid was released at Rs 229 crore 37 lakh 15 thousand 58. Tendering for the remaining eight zones will take place in the next phase of the process.

Deputy Commissioner for Excise and Taxes Pradeep Kumar said that out of a total of 65 zones, 45 were set up in Bhiwani district and 20 in Dadri district. Of these 45 zones of Bhiwani District, 17 urban zones and 28 rural zones have been created. There are 13 zones in Bhiwani city, two in Loharu and one each in Bawanikheda and Siwani. This year’s minimum price for Bhiwani and Dadri was left by the department at Rs. 222 crore 55 lakh rupees. Out of a total of 65 zones, only 57 zones were bid, and 57 zones bid above the reserve price. The offer for 57 zones was released at 229 crore 37 lakh 15,000 58 while the reserve price for 57 zones is only 194 crore 49 lakh.

In this situation, more than the total reserve price was completed in 57 zones. The highest bid was received for zone number one of the new bus in Bhiwani city, which was released at 7 crore 81 lakh 25 thousand rupees while its reserve price was set at 6 crore 25 lakh rupees. Similarly, in the second number, Zone No. 44 Dhigawa was released at 6 crore 35 lakh 51 thousand rupees, while the reserve price was set at 5 crore five lakh rupees. Similarly, Zone 18 Bahal was sold in three locations for 6 crore 29 lakh 99,000 999 rupees while the reserve price was set at 6 crore 9 lakh rupees.

Deputy Commissioner for Excise and Taxes Pradeep Kumar said more zones were created this time to allow more and more bidders to participate. Led by Deputy Commissioner Naresh Narwal, the bidding process was completed in Panchayat Bhavan in the presence of ADC Anupama Anjali. ETO Jagdish Gulia, AETO Shamsher Singh, Abhinandan Goyal and Neeraj Miglani, as well as many officials and employees from Cell Tax’s Excise Department, were present during the tender. The bidding process took place via an online medium.
