Bahadurgarh News:The construction of a gas-based crematorium at Ram Bagh crematorium in Bahadurgarh city started in June 2020. However, after the construction, it has not been operational until today. Only after the introduction of the test procedure was the project paid for with a value of 67 lakh rupees. Officials at Moksha, an organization that deals with the cremation of uncollected bodies, have also submitted a memorandum to city council officials on several occasions to begin doing so. But the officials pay no attention to that. But even after almost three years, the common people are disappointed that the burials could not begin here.

In fact, the Haryana government’s Municipal Local Corporations Department had decided to set up CNG, LPG or PNG-based crematoria in various cities in the state. A tender for the construction of a gas-based crematorium at a price of 67 lakh rupees was published in Rambagh crematorium in Bahadurgarh in 2019. After completing all the formalities, the construction started in June 2020 and was completed in a few days. But even after almost three years, it has not yet been put into operation. Kindly to inform us that there are three cremation sites in Bahadurgarh city. One in front of the old bus station, the other at Sector 10 on Najafgarh Road and the third along the railway line at Linepar. But in all three places, corpses are only cremated with wood. Cremation in scorching heat, rain or severe cold involves dealing with misery.

This will have many benefits

The commissioning of the gas-based crematorium will bring many advantages at once. In cremation in the traditional manner, four to five thousand rupees were spent on expensive wood and other items. At the same time, the body can only be cremated with 18 kg of gas. Cremation on a wooden pyre takes several hours, while in a gas-based crematorium this work is completed in an hour and a half and the bones are also found. In addition, air pollution is also significantly reduced.

It was built during the Corona period

Surendra Chugh, head of Moksha Samiti, said the committee had long called for the construction of electric or gas-powered crematoria. During the Corona period, the state government also had it built for about 67 lakh rupees. But even after three years, it is unfortunate that the gas-based cremation chamber could not be put into operation.

Information is obtained from the authorities

According to local council official Sanjay Rohilla, a gas-based crematorium was built in Rambagh for about 67 lakh rupees before he took office. Information on this is obtained from the responsible authorities. The affected company is instructed to put it into operation.
