Bahadurgarh: A major fire broke out in a shoe factory in Sector 17 of the HSIIDC on Wednesday evening. After receiving the information, the vehicles of the fire brigade reached the scene. Half a dozen vehicles tried to extinguish the fire late into the night. The cause of the fire is not yet clear, but it is feared that the fire could have been caused by a short circuit.

On the property in Sector 17 there is a company called Ina Footwear. Shoes and slippers are made in it. At around 8 p.m., a fire suddenly broke out on the first floor of the factory. Somehow an attempt was made to extinguish the fire, but due to the combustible material, the fire continued to flare up. After receiving the information, the fire brigade team reached the site. By that time, the fire had already spread to the first floor. The emergency services began with extinguishing attempts. By around 9:30 p.m., firefighters were on the scene with the help of half a dozen vehicles, but the blaze could not be brought under control.
