Bahadurgarh: Last night a family was attacked with sticks after entering their home in Mandothi village. In this attack, the elderly woman was beaten to death. Many family members were injured. The matter is said to be related to a land dispute. At the request of the victims, a murder case against eight people, including four women of the family, was registered in this regard. The deceased has been identified as Phoolpati, around 63 years old.

Satish, a resident of Mandothi village, has a land dispute with his uncle’s family. Therefore, there is often tension between them. A dispute broke out between the two sides around 9 p.m. on Thursday evening. Many sticks and canes were used in the dispute. Satish’s mother Phoolpati suffered serious injuries. When he was taken to the hospital, doctors pronounced him dead. Other family members were also injured and taken to the civilian hospital. As soon as the information came in, police arrived at the hospital from Mandothi outpost and a team visited the site and took statements from family members. In the complaint filed with the police, Satish said disputes with the families of his uncle Jile Singh and uncle Nafe Singh over the plot had intensified. The families of both uncles are enemies.

Last night around 9 o’clock we were in our house. Then Uncle Nafe Singh’s sons Ravindra, Ompal, Uncle Jile Singh and his son Deepak and the women of their families entered our house. They had sticks, scissors, etc. in their hands. They attacked us. The mother was hit in the neck with sticks, rendering her unconscious. When we sounded the alarm, everyone ran away and threatened to kill us. The mother was taken unconscious to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. All these people killed my mother by hitting her on the head. Other family members, including myself, were also seriously injured. Action must be taken against the accused. Based on the complaint, Mandothi Chowki police opened an investigation and registered a case against a total of eight people, including four women, on various charges including murder, intimidation and conspiracy.
