Kurukshetra News: Management of incomplete public facilities and infrastructure outside the boundaries of the Haryana Municipal Corporation/Municipal Council/Municipality Areas (Special Provisions) Act 2021 by the Government of Haryana (Haryana Government), in order of notification to the Town and Country Planning Department, Haryana, whose Law No. 5 of 2022 is published. The final application date has been extended by the Government of Haryana to July 14, 2023, providing an exemption under the provisions of this described Act, and further exemptions have been granted by the Government under this Act.

District town planner Rohit Chauhan said the provision of this law was made to permit illegal colonies to be developed outside of the municipal body/municipality/council to fulfill the necessary facilities. This policy applies only to illegal colonies developed on private land located outside the boundaries of the municipality/council/corporate body where the title deed or registered contract of sale is in place prior to July 1, 2022, there is no maximum limit the area of ​​the colony. and the minimum limit is 2 acres (Terms and Conditions apply), colonies not covered by this policy remain in the illegal construction category and action is taken according to the rules, now illegal colonies fall under all categories under the revised policy The minimum width of the internal road has been reduced to 3 meters, which used to be 9 meters and 6 meters. Now the development fee, which is added to the collector rate, has been reduced from 10 percent to 8 percent.

A committee was formed, chaired by the Deputy Commissioner, to review the applications received, in which the District Town Planner, the Convenor, and Chief Executive Engineer, Zilla Parishad, District Development and Panchayat Officer, Executive Engineer PWD (B&R), The members of this committee will be Executive Engineer PWD (BHED), Executive Engineer Panchayati Raj, District Fire Officer and Deputy Commissioner of Tehsildar Office.
